A Viva Downtown Upstate Creative Corp Project
Viva Downtown’s, Downtown Community walking maps were created in partnership with Healthy Shasta, The City of Redding, Viva Downtown, Visit Redding, Redding Cultural District, Shasta Historical Society and local artist Tyler Brown Cifu Shuster. This program is through the California Upstate Creative Corp grant to put artists work and connect the community.
This is a four-part series that highlights: historic structures, downtown murals, downtown waterways, and trails that connect to Downtown Redding. Explore our beautiful and creative Downtown.
Downtown Redding Historical Walking Map
A 2-mile walk to learn about 18 historical buildings of downtown Redding.

A 2.6-mile walk through historic Redding neighborhoods and our urban Downtown. This walk highlights the history, environmental impact, and future Cal-Trans Clean California developments through the City of Redding.

Downtown Redding to Trail Connections Walk
Join us on a 2-mile round trip walk from the developing Downtown Redding to the Sacramento River Trail. This route connects to parks, destinations, neighborhoods, and the Sacramento River Trail. Start at the Shasta Bike Depot, 1322 California Street.
